The Transcription Process

Our process is as following:

• We will discuss your project requirements, including target audience, file types required, special requirements and time limitations.

• Our experienced team of linguists will carefully listen to your file before transcribing/ translating it. At this stage, any change in speakers will be noted and time stamps will be recorded. If transcription is all that is required, it will be delivered in a Word format.

• If necessary, the transcription of the audio is time-coded in relation to the video.

• Once a precise transcript has been produced, we will assign it to the specialized translator best suited for it.

• The translator will produce a well-localized, industry-appropriate translation of the transcript within time limitations.

• The translation of your transcription is reviewed and proofread for precision, observations of speaker’s tone and any background events which might have a vital bearing on the subject. Any noise or static will be deciphered as much as possible.

• The final file(s) is sent to the client. We get their feedback, incorporate it by editing the output file, and submit the new version to them for approval.
